Food in Hongkong

Frankly speaking, I think the food in Hongkong is not that great. Or maybe it's because I dont know where the goodies are. Or maybe I think I am those cheapo who dont know how to appreciate the slightly more expensive and popular food. The best that I had eaten in Hongkong is simply the fishball noodle in Mongkok. It's the best fishball noodle I have ever eaten. Their wanton noodle too. And the oyster porridge is another hot hot item even though I am not an oyster person. All these are only $25HKG. Thumbs thumbs up for this shop. It's just beside the famous mango desert shop XU LIU SHAN.As I was writing this blog, I am drooling in fact.We tasted the po luo bao but all of us do not like it. And we tried the egg like waffler which is similar to our waffler just that it's crispier. It's a $2SGD snack. We did buy some tim sum for our breakfast near our Mongkok hotel but its yet another disappointment. So what we did was before we left Hongkong for Singapore, we went to have another bowl of fishball noodle. Yum Yum Yum.
I personally like the XU LIU SHAN mango desert too and had 2 bowls of that. If not for my stupid cough, I would have eaten more. So sad. As for Xihong, he tried the GONG CHA which I find it not tasty. But I was told by friend that it is as popular as our Singapore KOI but cheaper.
