Valentine's Day Celebration @ Malacca

On Thursday afternoon, I received a call fromXihong and he said "Dear, let's go to Malacca today. Go and book a hotel and will leave in the afternoon." I was a bit shock but happy at the same time. Yipee so I guess this will be considered our Valentine's Day celebration. After about a 3hrs drive, we reached Malacca. We went to their Newton food centre to have our dinner but it was not delicious. :( Then we went to take the TOWER where we got to have a bird's eye view of Malacca's city night view. It was quite a wonderful experience.

The picture below was taken in the tower by our assigned photographer- Yang Wan Qi. Haha throughout the trip she was the one who took our photos which was good cos we dont have to go around asking people to take our pictures. Was it well taken? Xihong and I personally took it was well taken. Hee proud parents.
Back at our hotel = Holiday Inn Melaka, we had a good rest. This was the newest hotel in Malacca. It was clean and new, very comfortable. Even Wan Qi loves the hotel room. She will say she is tired and want to go back to the hotel to sleep. The next day, we went for our heritage tour.

We had a trishaw ride at a cost of 50RM insisted by Wan Qi. We thought it was quite ex and hence rejected her request at first. So she went boo hoo for a long time so we had no choice but to agree.

This was another picture taken by Wan Qi at St Paul's Church and I thought she had captured the photo at a very good angle. :)

I bought a pair of clogs for Wan Qi cos I wore clogs in the kitchen when I was young too. She had fun wearing it going click clog click clog. This place was actually part of Yue Niang 's house. This part was used as a small restaurant. In fact, I went inside "Yue Niang" house - It was a museum and I enjoyed going to museums so wouldnt want to miss this chance. I wanted to let Wan Qi go too since she liked this show and also like Yue Niang .(the only show that Wan Qi had watched every day as mummy cant control herself from not watching so no choice let the little one watch too ) . But upon hearing that I wanted to bring her to Yue Niang's house, she burst out crying very very loudly. I tried to persuade her to go in but she just dont want. So Xihong suggested I go alone cos it's actually a more than 300 hundred years old house so er er he thought better not let Wan Qi go. Then it reminded me of the time when we wanted to go to the tree top walk, similar scenario happened. When we reached there (like a forest), Wan Qi just woke up from her nap and she started crying non stop and her crying is very very loud which is quite abnormal as Wan Qi will not cry even when she is being woken from her sleep. So in the end we had to abolish our plan as we thought since its a forest thingy - maybe she shouldnt go. So after I remember this incident, I decided not to persuade her to go. (quite eerie right)In the end, I went in myself. It was quite an interesting walk plus it costs only 8RM which I thought it's quite worth it. We took the ferry wheel at Malacca too. It's newly build. It costs 20RM per person. We took it in the afternoon so this time we had a good view of Malacca's afternoon view. It was quite scary cos its really really high. Wan Qi liked it so much that she insisted on taking a second ride. I forbade her cos I think it's a waste of money and again she started crying very very loudly so in the end Xihong said it's ok just let her sit for the second time.

After our heritage tour, we then proceed to shopping. I didnt buy anything for myself but I bought a table and chair for Wan Qi and it only cost me 29.90RM which I thought was real cheap. During our shopping, Wan Qi went to see the toys but I didnt buy her anything and she was quite all right. She dont really fancy toys or clothes but if we forbid her to take those rides, she will cry non stop. :(
Overall, this Malacca trip is a fun one and I look forward to going self drive trip again but Xihong said have to be during year end lia.

Oh ya ha your wish is to have 4 kids right :)
For me at first i wanted to have 2 like Gui Fen but these days Wan Qi made me so angry that i thought its really quite tiring to have another one. I am scared that they will become naughty children under my supervision. Cant imagine that.

Never mind la can bring along your kids for short trips. Actually its fun and it is addictive though it can be tiring too.

haha ya she likes to smile but sometime her smile is too big and her eyes become a line. hee

Huamei, no lah, that was only my dream to have 4 kids 4years ago. So probably can only be a dream since I am 32 tis year. Cant possibly have baby every year. I am alone at home, no helper at all. Furthermore, it is not easy for me to conceive(can imagine when I started family planning from 2005 till 2008 then my prayers was finally answered. And only 2009 can see my baby, haha! It is never an easy start in the first place for me.

kkf,
after these few years, I believe it is never what i intend to have. It is destined to have how many kids. I just wish to have more than 1 kid at least, dont dare to think much now first. What is yours will be yours. :)
