Wan Qi's birthday doll

Wan Qi's first doll when she is about seven mth old.
But she wasn't really fond of this doll.
But she learn the word eyes, nose, mouth, hair
from this doll so it's quite worthwhile in that sense. Its about $12.00

This is Wan Qi's favourite doll which I had bought for her in a pasar malam
after school. I remember I actually ran back to school to bring it home and Mr Chia my former principal asked me if I had forgotten to bring anything and I jus smiled at him and said ya forgotten to bring a very important thing back home. It's a naked doll cos it's actually a bathing doll. I bought it for 5 bucks as I thought I can teach Wan Qi how to bathe the baby and she did. And from that I thought her the meaning of hot and cold through bathing the baby. And now she actually try to let her wear her very own clothes diaper etc. So this is truly worthwhile and it's only 5 bucks.
But recently in my OG chiong, I bought a very nice doll for Wan Qi which I had thought of buying it for her previously. But it's 50bucks so gave it up in the end. (ya I am a stingy mummy)
haha in fact, I told Wan Qi I could not buy this doll for her becos it's too expensive and I am not sure if she know the word expensive but everytime I said that she would not pester me to buy for her. :)
But since OG has 30% discount so I decided to buy it. I mean how many times do you have this chance. However, I decided to let Wan Qi have it only on her birthday. Xihong said what so long you might jus give her tomorrow but I was firm and told him no becos I want Wan Qi to appreciate what she has and that I do not always have to oblige to her when it comes to buying things(toys, clothes etc). I thought this should be the way of teaching children how to appreciate things in life. haha
I hope it does. So I will jus keep this toy with me till 1st May Wan Qi's 2 yr old birthday.

Wan Qi's Raining Boots from Taiwan

My sis came back from her Taiwan trip and she bought a pair of big raining boots for Wan Qi.
She said they are meant for her when she goes to the nursery during rainy days. Haha our family is just crazy about shoes. We make all sort of excuses jus to buy another pair of shoes. My dad, my sis and I and now my Wan Qi, we are crazy about shoes. If Wan Qi sees a shoes shop in the shopping centre, I will try to distract her or else I will have to stay in that shoe shop for quite a while before I can drag her out. Our genes!!!

I am Yang Bua Lu Gu

We brought Wan Qi to the Soup Restaurant yesterday to have dinner but it was crowded. So I decided to feed Wan Qi outside the restaurant first. And she found a playmate there. Apparently, she wanted to play pee a boo with the playmate who is inside the Mini Toon shop. She ran to the other side of the wall. I thought she would be ok so did not stop her from running as it was a short distance. But then she lost her balance and banged her head against the wooden wall. I quickly ran and hugged her and asked if she is painful. She said is painful but only cried for a while so I thought it was ok. Then i told Xihong about it. He made a thorough check and found that there was a Bua Lu Gu at the back of her head and it was bleeding a bit. I was so so XIN TONG so I told Xihong to go and buy ZAM BAK ointment to rub on her head.

While we were at the restaurant, we wanted to make sure Wan Qi was ok. I mean her brain so Xihong asked her"What is your name?"

Wan Qi: muttered some funny language

We sort of panick and decided to ask again.

Wan Qi : muttered some funny language again.

Xihong : What is your name?

Wan Qi laughed and said : Yang Wan Qi

We were relieved to hear that.

Then she continued

Wan Qi: Yang Bua Lu Gu

The moment we heard her saying that we can't help but laughed aloud.

And then she continued saying"Yang Ba Ba" "Yang Ma Ma"

We praised her for that because it seems she understands that her surname is Yang and her name is Wan Qi so she can actually replace that with Bua Lu Gu and that since our surname is Yang so she can call us Yang Ba Ba and Yang Ma Ma.

haha this chicky monster.

I cut Wan Qi's Hair

Wan Qi's New Haircut!!!
Xihong said WanQi's hair is too long and its tickling her so I decided to cut her hair by myself. Haha I decided to cut her hair at the corridor jus like what my mum did twenty plus year ago to me. Hee as i was cutting Wan Qi's hair, I thought to myself. Now, I am cutting my own child's hair so amazing!!!!

Look at Wan Qi, she told me "Ma Ma ,ticklish, ticklish" She is simply like her papa. Every part of her body is ticklish. When i want to put the tape on her diaper, she will laugh and shrink and said "ticklish, ticklish" even when i brush her teeth she will say it's ticklish.

oohs what hairstyle is ma ma going to cut for me.

haha mama i look like noddy leh.(Wan Qi's favourite character now)

yeh "I have finished my haircut" and she clapped

Wan Qi 's LI SAN JIAO at nineteen mths old

Decided to let Wan Qi paint since nowadays she like to draw circles. It's always circles and circles and circles. Hee! When I ask her to draw fish for mama. She will say ok draw fish for mama and it's her icon circle circle fish.

But this picture that she painted looked like two children playing.

In the mist of the painting, Wan Qi said she want to change colour. We decided to have black colour. So I told her to come over to my side and I will let her change colour. She was so fast that she stepped on the black paint and I decided to let her learn LI SAN JIAO .hahaha

Hee, this last pic really look like she is doing her LI SAN JIAO hor.

Wan Qi was still having high fever but she seem perfectly ok. Still playing, jumping and asking for pineapple tarts. Her Chinese New Year clothes that I had bought for her. Look at the middle picture, she seem so proud of her new set of clothes.

Chinese New Year EVE

Wan Qi wore her Chinese New Year Eve traditional costumes. See she was happily posing for us. But in actual fact she was having a high fever 38.9 degree celsius. Sign I was so so stress. She was back from KK hospital in the afternoon. She was bitten by an insect at the ankle the nite before and then in the afternnon, she had a high fever. We immediately sent her to KK. She had blood test and even had an X ray to check if her ankle was dislocated. Actually, I wanted to tell the doc it couldnt be cos she was jumping up and down all the while but she insisted no choice. sign really XIN TONG. And Wan Qi is very afraid to go to the doc. She will KU DAO the clinic or hospital.

Have to stay away from Wan Qi. Boo Hoo!!!

I was having a terrible cough for the past two days so had no choice but to let Wan Qi stay at my mother's place. I do not wish to pass the cough to her. Miss her a lot but at the same time had the luxury of having naps in the afternoon. gege.
I called my mum this morning to check if Wan Qi misses me. Guess what my mum said to me. She told me that last nite Wan Qi was having fun before sleeping time. She was rolling and jumping on the bed and went out of the room for several times. She even told my mum"Luckily I am here." This playful girl obviously enjoyed her stay at my mum's place cos I always forbid her to play before she sleep.
